Just ordered Brevis 35 HD

The first lens won't work properly as it doesn't have a manual aperture ring. Start with a fast 1.2-1.8 50mm and go from there. Good Luck.

I believe that 28-80 does have a focus ring...but as Disco point out, no aperture ring, so I'm assuming you'd be using it wide open all the time. Definitely confirm that, as you should have control over both aperture and focus. The 50mm should be your first lens if you're putting a collection together. I should have checked that first..sorry.

Does Brevis work with Minolta/Sony lenses?
I have several 1.7, 2.8 lenses for my stillcamera from that "A-mount".
I know M2 supports them but most people here seem to favor Nikon despite the much higher prices than Minolta.

that lens looks good. I have one that's 50 1.4 and from the tests yesterday, it looks good. The 85mm looks good too.

Don't know what's up with the price on that nice 55mm/1.2 @ $273? kind of pricey, but a nice lens.

I LOVE my 28mm f/2.8 NIKKOR glass - It's freakkkkking awesome on the Brevis!!! I never used it on the M2 because of the light loss and vignetting I experienced with the lens, not with the Brevis though, the thing is killer - After my current editing clusterstorm, I will post some video on the footage board of some stuff I shot with that lens this past xmas..

Home of the Brevis. Where?

Home of the Brevis. Where?

Could anyone tell me the address of Brevis as well as a phone number. As someone who orders stuff online all the time, I always need full contact info before ordering. Looks great.
