I just recieved my Sennheiser HD280's in the mail yesterday, and before really putting them through their paces, I already like them alot. I read a few posts on this forum, as well as a few reviews, which can be found here:

Like I said, I haven't really put them through their paces yet, other than just doing some test monitoring through my DVX, and listening to my mp3 player with them...BTW, I wouldn't recommend them for easy listening with an mp3 player, as the player doesn't seem to have enough power to really make them sound decent. Next week I am going to use them with an m-box/protools at school and see how they sound. They are pretty darn comfortable, and fit nicely over the ears. Previously I was using a cheap 20 dollar set of Sony's and while they sounded OK, the fact that they didn't fit OVER my ears was really annoying. I give a thumbs up to the HD280's, good isolation, good comfort, and very well constructed.
