Just got SGPRO, but missing lens mount?

I was expecting my SGPro with FF to ship out May 11th, but it got shipped early. I didn't buy any lenses yet, but I ordered a Nikon F mount, but it says Canon on the front cap of the SGPro and looks like just plastic, not some kind of mount... On my Invoice, it says I ordered the Nikon F lens mount, but I don't see anything in the box that says Nikon on it. Here's some pictures with my camera phone of what I mean.

It's funny because the canon mount is a more expensive piece. I'd keep it and just buy a nikon one.

No its not the canon is 65 quid and the nikon is 45.

Oo comes with printed insturctions now...

Isn't 65 more than 45? Or does your money work differently.

Because if it doesn't I am right, I said the canon mount is more expensive, he got a mount worth more than the one he paid for.

I went to the camera shop, and they didn't have ANY Canon FD lenses and none of the Canon lenses would fit and they said that it was for 20 year old lenses.... Yeah, I'm getting the Nikon lens mount.

Mm odd, I could have sworn your original post said the nikon was more expensive. Oh well, must have read it wrong....

Ain't it great to have support.

Yeah, the FD mount is 20 years old but this is good for several reasons.

First of all, theres loads of them about. People have them in their loft or in a box somewhere, find them and then sell them. I have even seen people selling off their late husbands lenses that he kept from 20 years ago. Theres loads on ebay, but it is rare to find them in high street shops.

Second thing is, they are very well made. 20 years ago, stuff was built to last, not like the plastic junk you get today. They were expensive when new, so the original photographer looked after it, and its not uncommon to find lenses that look like they came out of the factory yesterday. In fact I have three FD lenses that look brand new, no dust or scratches or anything.

Third thing is, they are very cheap, as no one can really use them, accept 35mm adapter people like us, and collectors of older camera equipment.

I can get a canon FD lens, brand new condition for 20 quid on ebay. I picked up an FD 50mm F1.4 off ebay, mint condition, everything works as if it was new for £20. Im not sure what the equivalent nikon lens goes for, but id be surprised if it was less than that of the same build quality and condition.
