Just got my Paglight C6!

Congratulations. I have used my PagLight C6 a few times last week and I, too, am absolutely charmed by it. On one occasion we used it mounted to a tripod admittedly for want of a "proper" light kit that day but it worked just fine. On another we used the Paglight outside, for rather a long time from dusk to late evening darkness, and this, too, went well - of course, guys drinking beer on a winter's evening will look a bit like stunned white rabbits regardless. The daylight and diffusion filters also work like a charm, as do the barn doors. All in all, I am thoroughly pleased with the little kit. Mind you, I do have a belt clip attached to the battery pack (available from the PagStore) which, I think, would otherwise be quite cumbersome.

To answer your question. Do you have the shoeplate?

I ordered the shoeplate shown to the left at the PagStore. Please notice how, if my poorly lit and rather out-of-focus photograph will still allow this, the Paglight and shoeplate can be fastened tightly using the wheel.

I hope this was relevant. Best regards, Huib J. Lirb

How long does the battery last for the paglight c6? I'll be shooting in Ghana & Haiti with little access to electricity, is there a better option for a light (power is a major concern) or is the paglight the best overall?

Did anyone tried the 30W bulb? What is the actual improvement in terms of lighting performance? How does it affect battery life?
