Just got my DCT DVD's...where should I start

Hello all,

My mouth starts to water everytime I just think about the DVD's...wish I could watch all of them at 1 time!!! But my question is which should I start with? Should I watch the gear guide first to get familiar with the equipment used or start with the Basic Production and other stuff and go back to the gear guide last?

Thanks in advance for your responses!!!

BTW...I am very, very new to this board and this industry as a whole(changing careers...previously an EE in the semiconductor field), but I must say that this site is very informative and I have learned so much in such a short period of time. Joining this site has given me so much confidence. It is truly really nice to see so many people willing to help other people out within an industry(Corprate America is nothing like this!!!) You guys are a AMAZING!!!:engel017:

God Bless!!!

Disclaimer: I have not watched the DCT DVD's myself

I would suggest starting with basic production and working your way up. That way you'll know more about production and have a better understanding of what kinds of equipment do which jobs.

I watched 4 of them today...For a novice, like myself, I think they are great!!! I feel that even the average filmmaker could pick up some tips.
