just got my 100a!

[chubaka]

Hi guys,

just thought i'd mention that I just jumped on the bandwagon and got my 100A. I'll post some stuff eventually...maybe when I figure out everything that it can do. It's so awesome. I think i'm gonna have to work out a bit though. This thing gets heavy after awhile. Especially since i'll be filming some weddings soon. Oh I got a Quickstream DV 3 hour with a 3.5 hour battery too

Re: just got my 100a!

Oh, and i'm looking for a good on camera light that would be good for interviews with couples at a wedding reception..a light that wouldn't make people squint. I looked at this one so far. http://www.adorama.com/COSL3000.html
It's the Cool-lux SL3000.

Any suggestions?

Welcome aboard chubaka!

DVRig Pro for the tired arms/shoulder thing and they also have a softlight (don't know if it's good or not though). The DVRig Pro will do a real nice job at weddings/events I'm sure.

Here a thread on the DVRig Pro to peruse through http://www.dvxuser.com/cgi-bin/DVX/YaBB.cgi?board=Links;action=display;num=1078340982;start=25#25
