the Manfretto 3246 is HUMONGOUS. i mean its like 8 feet tall.... Awesome...... i had no idea it was that big... i just never imagined 95.5 inches being that huge...

my 501 is like, "sticking" prior to a pan. like it grabs then, lets go with a jerk. does it just need to be broken in a little?

Yeh mine's been doing that for ever, it doesn't stop. All I do is tighten the snot out of it then sandbag it to death. It is not an actual fluid head but simulated fluid teflon head.

Just put some WD40 or oil in it, it should be fluid..
