I know I have been talking about buying one on here forever, but I finally got one. I don't have it YET. But I just won it on ebay.

Anyways, when I get it, I'm thinking I will send it somewhere to have it looked over and checked out. Does anyone know of a good place to send it to have it looked over?

Also, I need to learn about film stocks. Any one know of a website where I can learn about how to choose a certain ASA, and the differents stocks? Does anyone reccomend any film I might want to try out for starters? Anything I shoot will be outdooors in bright daylight most likely. I'm not going for a certain look. I just want it to look as normal as possible. People walking, mountain biking (slow motion), that type of stuff.

Try sending it to able cine in NY or LA. Also see if you can have it converted to super 16mm if it's not already-rock-Adam

P.S. My favorite film stock of all time is the Kodak EXR asa100, nice.

I have had both of my Bolexes (regular 16 and Super 16) serviced by ProCam in Prescott, AZ. I have used them for years and always been happy.
