Just found this lying around...

I found my Fathers old 35mm camera....and i just know of the 35 mm adapters, and what they do....but really nothing about building one...and...well....could this be any use to me in building one?

well yea, as long as you build your adapter to fit that lens type.

that might be too slow. It would give you a hard time to get things right in terms of testing for alignment, focus, vignette, falloff, etc. If you want to build one, have a 50mm with at least f1.4 as your test lens. if you get it right with the 50 its easier to do your adjustments to get other types to work.
