Hi everyone,
so i just bought a 24mm 2.8 canon fd mount lens, and i have no idea why i did it...
I already have a 28mm 2.8, was this a complete mistake or is there someone out there that will make me feel better about what i just dropped 40 bucks on...

Hehe!

I am asking myself the same question. But I didn't bought it yet..

I have Minolta MD 28mm f2.8 and thinking of Minolta MD 24mm f2.8 whitch suposed to be one of the sharpest in that range..

Is it OK, or would be better to go with MD 28mm f2.0 instead???

Ah, desitions..

:)

Don't worry, that f2 24mm FD actually is the worst performer in terms of vignetting at SLR full frame on Letus.
This whole piece was filmed with the 24mm f2 - judge yourself.

Interesting! I almost picked one up a while back on recommendation that it greatly improved on vignetting. But you used a Letus Mini on that piece right? I wonder if the Extreme behaves differently.

$40 for the lens is actually a great deal, I paid almost twice as much for mine. It's a rather slow lens to use indoor but is actually pretty good and I prefer it to a 28mm. This shot was taken with the 24mm f2.8 on an Extreme (stopped down to f4), as you can see, sharpness is very good.

yay! i knew i could come to you guys to make me feel better! haha, and now i just got an email, i won ANOTHER ebay thing that i must have bid on at like 3 in the morning, 12 bucks or a 3.5/f 35mm! hahaha

Wow, looks like I am not only "lens-addicted" arround here..

:)

But man, f3.5 ????

I am looking for 35mm f1.8, not f3.5..

I was just too late for Vivitar Series 1 variable zoom 35 - 85 f2.8

Aggrhghh!!!! I am mad at myself, it went out for only 45$..

:(
