just a General Error

Trying to export a :30 MOV from my timeline. I've created seven other MOVs so far, but for some reason, the in/outs I have selected now kick back when I submit to export>QT conversion. I get "General Error."

Thanks for the specific and helpful error message, FCP. I would love to tell my boss the same thing sometimes.
 
Have you nested any of the footage? One of the guys here did that on his timeline and we kept getting the same error. Removed that and it seemed to work out.

Otherwise, I'd look into the possibility of corruption in the sequence or project file. So Create a new project file, a new sequence, and finally copy and paste from the existing one into the new one. Then try the export again.

No nesting going on. I pushed my In/Out back a few frames and it worked. Just your General Error vodoo.
