Jurassic Park IV

i didn't care for JPIII but if spielberg is going to help with JPIV the it should better than the third. Have to wait and see.

I never seen War of the Worlds but I think his last best was Minority Report. I have to rent War of the Worlds to see what the Hub Bub is about.

I just think Spielberg is too talented to be spending time on the Jurassic Park franchise. It's tired and there are much better stories he should be telling. Maybe he needs to do another Poltergeist film. I'd take that over Jurassic Park 4.

OKAY, OKAY, everyone calm down. I'm sure you can all agree that there has been some incredible advancments in CGI magic since JP1.

And I think it's fair to say, any amount of sucky storyline is worth sitting through to see how F*CKIN" cool those dinos are gunna look on the big screen!!!

BIG REAL LOOKING DINOS, people come on!!!!!

Maybe I just love dinosaurs too much but you could put pauly shore in a JP movie and I'd watch it.

Egad! You have to be joking.... Jurassic Park III SUCKED. BIGTIME.

Yeah Speilbergs' sequels seem to not be that good.. i.e Jaws 2-4, JP 2-3, I think there was another movie also. Im not a fan of sequels, they seem to be more money driven, yet Godfather part 2 was great 3 sucked, and Star Wars sequels were all good..ep. 5,4,6,3,2,1 in that order for those IMHO.

Yeah, but the T-rex attack still looks AMAZING.

Clever doing it in the rain. Hid the problems they had with fake looking skin textures.

i think they took a long enough break away from it. i think stevie would do a great job. they should make more chricton books into movies though- minus timeline

LOL! Timeline wasn't that bad :)

And they've done a respectible amount of his writing; The Andromeda Strain, Sphere, Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park II, Timeline and, er, more I'm sure if I could remember them.

I think from an audience standpoint, you're correct, however I think Speilberg views the JP films as his playground. If you see any intereviews with him regarding this there's a twinkle in his eye when JP comes up. He's said that he's always had a thing for dinosaurs since he was a kid, so he probably keeps coming back for his own personal enjoyment with the project.

you guys have to admit- the other ones weren't THAT bad. as a kid i LOVED them. although the first was untouchable by the others. JP1 is one of those movies that gives me nastalgia looking back on it
