I'm looking to buy a basic 2 channel mixer for my 60D on ebay. I need a unit with 2 XLR inputs and headphone input. It looks like the CX211 has XLR but no headphones and he replacement 214 has headphones but no XLR inputs.I have 2 mics with XLR. Advice welcome.

Hey there,
Another brand to check out is Beachtek. Their first offering into the world of DSLR audio was this: http://www.dvestore.com/beachtek-dxa-slr-active-audio-adapter/, with the headphone out, AGC defeat and more.
You'd still be recording into your DSLR this way, so you might look into getting a cheap audio recorder instead, such as the Tascam DR-100 http://www.dvestore.com/tascam-dr-100/ or something.

If I'm going into a DSLR, I use a Sound Devices MixPre-D

Yes, there is an 1/8" mini line out, could run that to camera. Use headphone out to monitor sound, 2 XLR inputs (which double as 1/4" inputs in the same spot for other applications). For the price it's a surprisingly versatile little box

The Juicedlink preamps output MIC level, not line level. They accept either mic or line inputs on the XLR connectors.
