I have a project for a client that involves using still images, JPEGS provided by the client on a disk. Two weird things are happening:
1. The JPEGS look fine in Finder or Preview, but in Final Cut, they appear way too saturated...
2. FCP 6.0.5 is acting slow and ultimately crashing once I import these particular images into the project.
I tried this on my Mac Book Pro as well, and the same thing happens. I tried opening new project on both computers and importing these images, and again, the project crashed.
So, it seems that Final Cut doesn't like these particular images. I use stills on a regular basis from this client, and this has never happened.
Is there anything I should ask them, like if they did something different to these images or if they went through some sort of processing, etc?
