It was very sad what happened to Jim Foley. I could talk about how angry we feel for the people that killed him.
We all shared a common interest and that was video and filmmaking.
I saw a picture of him with a camera, it looked to be a Canon XA20 and a Rode Microphone and a type of a monopod.
This is the same sort of equipment we have. My dad was a photographer in the war, and he talked of some dangerous moments. It just breaks your heart to hear what happened and the pain his parents must be going through.

I am curious to know of his life and the type of work he did.
God Bless Him, he seems like he would have a been a great friend to know.
And God Bless our military and the photo Journalists out there.
