Job Ideas

Hey guys...

normally I make my money from art. Acting pays most of my bills. Acting coaching for TV pays a lot of my bills. Writing pays some of my bills and directing has paid one bill...once.

It's winter where I live and there isn't a lot of work.

Fact is, my account is looking skint.

I HATE...repeat HATE HATE HATE joe jobs. regular jobs have a habbit of sucking out my life blood and all my creative energy with it - but I worry I won't make it to my next rent check without some cash.

Any ideas of what I could do to make some cheddar without taking a "part-time" to make my weekly nut?

I'm tapped out of ideas.

Stripper....no joke, I have an interview if I want it. I'm fit enough. I'd rather skip that route.

I've worked ESL, retaurants, manual labour...

I'm looking for something I can do as a one time thing, maybe twice to get me to the next gig....

I have a uni degree....

baby sit... once...

you can write a screenplay or watch a movie while doing the baby sitting. You are furthering your knowledge of filmmaking while making money. Just make sure the kid isn't a little punk...

You ought to see about getting on with a temp agency of some kind. They keep your talent/skills profile onhand, you tell them when you are avail to work, and they call you. You can take it or leave it, based on the job.

I did this in another lifetime....worked out real well until I needed a more steady paycheck and benies. :)
