Jittery Playback in Edit tab for 4k footage even in proxy mode.
This is just GH4 raw footage with no color correction/effects/ or anything.
OS is windows 7 home
Im getting jittery playback 24fps then goes to maybe 12fps. Getting dropped frames.
1080p no problem even without proxy mode.
Footage running off SSD so should not be a problem. I see reads at 20-30mbps in windows performance monitor when running playback.
Memory is 16GB ddr3 1066 (need to check mhz when I get home). Usage is around 8GB so 50%.
CPU might be the bottleneck. i7-2600 sandy bridge from 2011. I see one of the 4 cpus go to high 80% but none ever reach 90%
GPU is gtx 980. usage tops out at 20%.
So is it the CPU? Or memory? Or maybe motherboard?
Or is it just the GH4 footage is not optimized for resolve 12?
If I run optimized media then all is fine but that takes forever on 100+ clips.
