Re: Jimmy Jib?
We fly the DVX on the end of a 24' Jimmy Jib all the time. It's really kind of absurd, seeing this huge jib arm with a tiny little camera on it, but it's hard to argue with the results.
Pat Kerby (www.kerbybrothers.com), "filmmaker58" on this board, is an unbelievably talented jib operator. He's driven the jib for most major networks and cable networks and he's incredibly good at it, and he operates the jib on all our productions.

Pat Kerby has a great instructional DVD called "Fight Scenes for Motion Pictures" which is packed with tips on staging and blocking realistic fight scenes.
