anyone else on here listen to this guy? i can't get enough of it, makes the working day so much better

he deserved it. the 800 pound QB says "dont call me chris" and yo uwith a smirk call him chris..... you get a beat down. thats how jim rolls.
 
personally I can't stand the guy. Talks all kinds of trash about athletes but never played a minute of professional sports in his life. Worse than the trash talking is the fact that he gets some little idea in his head, and won't let it go for the entire show. Everytime I hear that idiot on the radio, I think of that clip and get a smile on my face.

Me too. The guy is insanely annoying. And he wants so desperately to be cool and hip with all of his "Rome-isms"....'grill' 'chouds" etc....that to a non-fan, he just sounds rediculous and that he is trying too hard.

But hey, give him credit, the man is successful. Hes just not successful on MY car radio.
 
Well, count me in (apparently :) ) the minority as a "clone." I get a big kick out of Rome's radio show, whereas I find most sports talk radio incredibly un-listenable. I don't have a problem with the fact that he's never played sports--in fact, I wonder if that doesn't make his show better. Frankly, the vast majority of ex-athletes I hear on the sports talk shows just don't impress me.
 
I listen to Rome every now and then. Since I got satellite radio, not so much though.
 
i was wondering why one of his rules was that you can't call a sports guy by a girl's name, hahaha after that clip i now know why. i love his show and think his opinions are usually on point. i think it's funny how he doesn't let topics go, except when they're about NASCAR or hockey...
 
Truthfully...I used to be an all out clone. I can't believe Romey has been around so long. That's a really big wave he's riding. Whether it be genius or moronic.
