Jib/Slider Combo

I'm looking for a a jib/crane slider combo system. I've seen systems that mount on tripod legs and you can use the slider vertically as well as horizontally. You can then easily turn it into a jib. The only thing the systems I've seen were missing were gears for really smooth sliding and the ability to take off the slider and just place it on the floor for sliding.

What are people's favorite solutions in this area? I'm not concerned about price right now...I would just like to see what my options are.

Thanks!

If you do a search, you find that the have one with a crank and one with a motor too.

Also Kessler has the wonderful PocketJib that can be outfitted with a cranked slider.

although not as long as that one in the video above, im using the Pocket Dolly with their Hercules head. for closer proximity stuff the PD used as a jib works nicely but is of course no replacement for a real jib. also the price is not bad for the PD & Hercules head.

+1 for Kessler. Nice design and build quality, though not inexpensive, the value is always there. Kessler may not be big Hollywood, but for most of us, it is pretty nice stuff.

I have a kessler pocket jib and cineslider. The cineslider can be mounted onto the jib - better jib, better slider.

I will say the tension control on the cineslider (also available on the philip bloom signature pocket dolly), is a great tool.

Thank you, I will have to do more research on all the differen kessler variations but that looks like it's probably the route to go. I've seen the floatcam dollycrane but I didn't realize you could get crank and motor with it..might be an option now.
