There was a thread recently, about how to imitate the look of the Zapruder film digitally.

It made me recall this magnificent movie - JFK.

I watched it again [for the N-th time], and again I was totally mesmerized by it.

I wanted to know what you think about it, and about its subject. I searched for threads on JFK, but couldn't find any.

It's kinda old already, but you know... "no good thing ever dies".

When i watched it the first 16 times )), I thought - the fact that a movie like this gets made proves that the spirit of freedom is alive and intact.

I wonder, would it be possible to make this movie today?...

I deeply hope that the answer is yes.

I'm curious what do Americans think nowadays about the date 22-th of November, 1963.

And, as I'm talking about JFK, would you consider the things that happened then to be similar or even linked to the things, which happened on the date 11-th of September, 2001.

I hope I'm not too bold, but freedom of speech is a right, no?

The US is the leading power nowadays, and whatever happens there, affects every person on the planet. I'm just trying to figure out what's coming...

Oh, well... I guess I'm under the emotional effect of the movie but I still think it's important.
