Jeying two colours in FCP

Hey guys,

I can't work out how to remove both green and blue from a shot I'm working on. Any suggestions?

The grab is from an HVX202 shooting DVCProHD.

All the other shots are so much easier than this one, but I'm nonetheless matting like crazy and will taking a bit of creative editing license. We have 4 days to do this 5 minute sequence.

FTR: the shot here was done in a tiny theater, and the rubbish lights that were there were all I had to light with.

You could apply a second keying filter. Adjust one to key on the blue and one to key on the green. Tough job though to get that all cleanly looking at the still you provided.

If you know how to rotoscope well or know of anyone that does, and is willing to help, the other option is to roto the actor and just cut it all out that way. Possibly more work, or possibly not depending on how fast your roto artist is and how much trouble the keying filters give you with the footage.

cheers.
