Everything about this sequence plays smoothly except this intro.mov. title clip I insert. acts jerky. But when I play it seperately on quicktime its smooth/right. Tried playing with the frame rate and speed but can't make better, lil help? Thanks in advance.

I think your system specs might not be fast enough. I have had similar situation in the past where Premiere had a lot of trouble reading files of different compression (.mov, .mpeg etc.). Is the problem in the previewing and editing phase or did you already rendered out a sequence? If you haven't then I would recommend rendering out a quick test video to see if it's still affected in the output.

Jade, its jerky when I outputed it too. You're probably right about the computer not being up to speed, is there a way you adjust something so it will play right?

Unless you're playing HD footages, your computer shouldn't have a problem even though the specs isn't strong. If the hardware is the problem then you'll see the footage slows down and then suddenly speeds up as the program tries to catch up. If it's not jerky in that sense then I would guess that the problem is Premiere itself. The program has odd little quirks where it'll sometimes cause a section of the footage to shake. In this case you're jerky movement would be the footage actually coming out of frame and displaying black spots in it's place. I'm not sure what's causing this but if you have After Effects then you can try stabilizing the motion using a motion tracker.
