Guys I'm so stoked. My life is about to change. It looks like I'm going to be receiving $675,000 and it just fell into my lap! I couldn't believe this was in my inbox this morning but it was!!!!! Wow!

I get these from some random dudes in Nigeria all the time. I pity the fools that actually fall for it. It boggles the mind that there must be people that still do, cuz they keep sending em. Terrible.

No I'm joking. Its a scam bigtime - maybe you have good junk email filter or they don't go to Russia but I get like one a week from Africa usually and the next part is they ask for all your financial info so they can bleed you dry under the guise of wiring the entire 4.5 million or 9 million or whatever into your account so they can get it out of the country --- ever hear of a Swiss bank account - Duh! Apparantley no one in Africa with Millions of Dollars has :)

They are also usually containing really broken English too and also as someone in Albuquerque is trying to be faking being foreign :grin:
 
Gmail saves me from that stuff. But my point was that you would get Varicam, if you happened to have half a million bucks laying around. I know I would. :grin:

A friend of mine got an e-mail yesterday from soneone saying, "MSN is going to start charging for all of it's services, including Hotmail. If you forward this e-mail to 18 of your friends it will continue to be free for you." People actually believe this stuff. It boggles the mind.
 
If I get $700,000 suddenly I can guarantee I'll share it with everybody that's got at least 200 posts.

You will each get a shirt that says "My buddy at DVXuser.com won $700,000 and all I got was this lousy t-shirt."

That and I'll throw in a candy bar of your choice (as long as it's a Zero)

No, they are in broken English because they are written by Africans. These e-mails generally do come from there, but everything else is bullshit, obviously. There's been a lot of news stories about it.
