Jarred Scale Easter Bunny

He weighs in at 22 pounds and measures a little over 3 feet. He is a breed of rabbit called German Giant (how appropriate!). This is his owner, Hans Wagner, struggling to hold him up. From the NY Post article...We don't feed him an unusual diet, said Wagner. He goes through more than his brothers and sisters, but he eats the same food mix. His favorite food is actually lettuce...he can never get enough of it.
LOOK AT THOSE FEET!

I'm instantly obsessed with this perversion of nature.

I wish they'd make a practical size house-giraffe.

Man, I want that rabbit! You can practically ride on his back. Who needs a dog when you can a hopping vegetarian the size of a pig in your home.

You know the non-funny kind.

lol, I wasn't sure ... sorry

although my mom sent this to me in my email, and someone sent it to her, so who knows where it really came from.

interesting how just by shifting scale a thing goes from "cute" to eery and kind of intimidating ... like imagine that thing staring at you as you try to fall asleep.

Hmm.. Ever since I was 5, and my mother brought home a dead rabbit who still has had his red eyes open and looking at me, I couldn't think of rabbits a meal. Neither could she, frankly. I don't even remember what she did it with the dead animal.

And there are much better furs on the market, heh. There are a lot of fur coat opposers in North America though.

To cook it, of course! It just, I guess, didn't seem as scary side to side with other dead rabbits on the market.
ah ok ... from your post it just sounded like she randmonly brought home some road kill and then that put you off eating wabbits
