Re: January DVXfest...
I noticed that too and posted something about it last week in the contest section. There has not been a formal thread, like last months DVXfest, and no formal announcement of a deadline and/or prizes. No big deal if there aren't prizes, but at this point we're not even sure there is a contest this month. :'(
Anyone got info?

Re: January DVXfest...
Ok, I edited the DVXfest announcements to reflect the montly nature of the fest some time ago, but I guess not everyone noticed--sorry. There's a contest *every* month and the submissions are always due by midnight on the last day of the month. Viewing and voting will always takes place during the first seven days of the following month. I'm in some negotiations for additional prizes, but I have definite prizes lined up for every month in 2005 (including a great Best of 2005 prize). I'll post the prizes tonight for the January contest.
Coming up...
February -- This month will have a theme and a required object. All other rules apply.
July -- July is DVXfest: The Zombie Edition. We'll be accepting films made from January to July 2005 that feature the undead. All other rules apply.
