Jan has finally had her last NAB and is now retired she was a frequent visiter to dvxuser and will be missed by all. I have re posted/edited my 2011 interview I did with her as a tribute to a great lady at www.hdwarrior.co.uk talking about the new range of camcorders especially the AC160.

The most responsive camera rep, ever.

Even though she'd moved on to other cameras, I think you can officially say good bye to any AF100 update.

Happy retirement, Jan!!!

Interesting that in such a heavily male dominated industry she was one of the few company reps who I actually liked. Always knowledgeable and about as responsive as a representative from one of the majors could get. If your reading this Jan, I wish you all the best, cheers!

All the best Jan. We appreciated your participation on the forum. It takes a lot of moxy to represent the company on this forum and stand up to anonymous queries, commentaries, complaints, bashing, and other difficult situations.

It's disappointing others aren't willing to present a face/voice for Panasonic. It shows how tough a job it is.

One of the things that gave me confidence over the years in buying Panasonic cameras was Jan could be reached on this forum to answer any questions. All the best in your retirement.

I've seen Jan's post and I was impress there was a knowledgeable, approachable rep from a very large company on a forum.
Much different than some other companies.

Well done! I appreciate all of the support you've provided here! Thank you and best wishes. But please continue to post here, your insight is always welcome!!!

I guess GH camera series' success is also part of her work's legacy... With direct consequence on the screen yesterday, today and tomorrow.

In two words and unfairly short: thank you!

Emanuel :-)
