James Bond Intro Sequence

I want to redo a james bond sequence (the silhouette of Bond walking through different backgrounds shooting enemies and such) This is how I plan on filming it I just need clarification, I was going to just film the actor doing different things like pointing and shooting, I guess my question pertains to walking, should I film my actor walking a couple of steps and then loop it to make it look like they are walking longer distances. Just would like some clarification on the perfect way to do it.

Oh I plan on shooting this with the actor against green screen and doing the keying etc in after effects.

Good luck on trying to loop a walk cycle of a real person. Just have the actor perform it against a green screen, key it out and use the resulting matte as a track matte for your various layers etc.

People loops are a pain to do. Maybe you can get someone to do it with a 3d model instead?

If it's a simple silhouette, you should be able to find a big enough plain wall somewhere. You're not going to need the control that a real greenscreen will give you and you won't need anything other than ambient light.

im assuming you want me to basically make the person a solid color then the wall another solid color
might have to try that out thanks.

As long as the wall can be separated from the person, you should be fine. You won't have to paint the person all blue or anything. Even just a white wall and a dark person would be enough for a luma key.
