Dude, Jack Black IS hilarious! I find him funnier in person than in the films to be honest. ....I got to meet him for being an extra on set for Year One

I conquer I conquer

huh?

My thoughts on Jack Black are this: Anyone who thinks Tenacious D is funny, hasn't heard Steven Lynch.

does this mean that once you've heard Steven Lynch, you no longer think Tenacious D is funny?

I've listened to Lynch, but vastly prefer D because while I think they're both funny, I just like the D's music more. To me Lynch is more of a stand up act while the D are musicians first. purely my subjective opinion.

That said I don't enjoy the new electric D nearly as much. It worked for the soundtrack to their movie, but going out on tour with a full band really takes something away for me.

I just think that Lynch is a better musician, singer and comedian than the guys in D. I never thought Tenacious D was all that funny.

to each their own, right?
