I've never seen more than a few minutes of any episode, and not very many at that. The commercials for it make it look it's pretty much all the same, all the time.
 
Anyone going to be posting as they go along watching the episodes?

Jealous of you American's who get to see it tonight. I got to wait to see it on Sky One, 21:00 tomorrow night.

I've ordered PopCorn Kernals from Asda.. which get's here about 6-8pm.. and it starts at 9pm..

Going to have a 2 hour long phone call. Shouting 'OH MY GOD' back and forth.

Love all the new trailers out this week to.

Even our radio's been going off all day, a message from Keither telling everyone to watch.

***SPOILERS***

Jack dies. Falls into a trash compactor ten minutes into the show. Since he's not there to fight bad guys, terrorists start a nuclear war, destroying all human life on earth. The rest of the season will be a static shot of cockroaches and rubble.
 
Not a bad start. This show always delivers a base level of cheap entertainment, even at its worst. I'm glad they are going with evil Tony Almeda, as I thought they should've done that last season, and I'm glad they are finally shooting someplace other than Van Nuys. Janene Garafalo is a poor substitute for Chloe, though, and its somewhat jarring to have a CTU-less 24.
 
Wait... are terrorists trying to blow up Washington DC this time? Or will it be a coup? I can't wait! Destroying LA was getting so boring. Let's destroy DC... cause that's never been done.

Nice start. Particularly stoked to see Dameon Clarke as the sniper. I used him in a spot a few years ago and he's a really nice guy. (See the spot under portfolio/television/SBOlives at http://www.jasonfox.net)

Season six really kinda blew, so I'm hoping this one makes up for it.
 
Just saw it a few hours ago - we have to wait till next Monday in the UK though to see what.. you lot are seeing tonight, the second 2 parter of the Premier.

Which kinda.. well yeah, kinda blows.

And whoever Posted that SPOILER for me earlier. I just want you to know.
I avoided that all day long, looking forward to reading it after I saw the show this evening. Then I read about a Trash Compactor, ah well, was worth the lol at myself. Well done.

On a serious note, though I was completely ready to hate this season after the garbage they threw at us last time around. But so far, it's been pretty solid. We shall see...
 
I'm still seeing plot twists a mile away and would like less overtly expository dialogue, but I agree this season is off to pretty good start.

Kinda with you on the dialog Jason... kind of on the nose too often.. but tonight's two episodes were MUCH better than the first two... and I have high hopes... I'm really digging Agent Walker's character.
 
Yeah, it's nice to have a female character (aside from Chloe) who actually seems tough. As opposed to tough-on-the-outside-whiny-on-the-inside like Audrey. Or, you know, being chased by a cougar.
 
What episode did you guy's have last night in the US?

We just had 3 & 4 in Britain, loving the trailer for 5.
 
The first two episodes were kind of weak to me... too expository... but I think part of it was that I had seen Redemption so I had more backstory already.

The last three episodes though have been terrific... last night's being the best...

So excited to see what happens next... I am hanging on every second.
