New to Production Premium are Adobe Prelude™ CS6, which streamlines logging and ingest workflows in post-production, and Adobe SpeedGrade, which contains powerful finishing tools for film finishing and color grading.

I've been waiting for a dedicated color tool to find its way to Adobe's workflow, and ever since learning of SpeedGrade from Stu Maschwitz's post (http://prolost.com/blog/2011/9/27/what-adobe-should-do-with-iridas-speedgrade.html) back in September, I've been hoping for just this. Has anyone used SpeedGrade in its former incarnation? Any thoughts?

Never used it..but saw a demonstration of it at the NAB show last week. Looks very promising and more user friendly than Davinci Resolve and Apple Color.

Tons of content regarding Speed Grade and how to use it here from Adobe - http://tv.adobe.com/search/?q=SpeedGrade

Just watched all of it and can't wait to get my hands on it. Seems like a really effective workflow perhaps. Loving the opacity
slider of each 'layer'. Seems quite familiar if you are a huge user of Adobe products.
