Not about the tools? "...don't want to hear anyone complain that you don't have enough equipment to..."?

But, actually, he's using professional: Hair and Makeup, Model, LIGHTS, RETOUCHER.

The people he's trying to call out don't have access to 1/10th of the "equipment" this guy uses in this shoot. Just stroking his own ego... pretty pointless for his audience if you ask me.

I guess you can achieve the same lighting with a couple desk lamps and some energy saver bulbs right?

Cause you know... it isn't about the tools..
 
It would be better if he said it wasn't about the camera, or if he did the shoot outside with just sunlight.
