Have you seen this new paint being used on cars and motorcycles? You can put it on anything, and it glows when you give it some electricity.

 
I've got EL wire and the tape they used to build the costumes in TRON 2. This really raises the bar. Pity it's not as easy to use, although 'proprietary process' is probably code for 'we can't let people know how easy it is to DIY this thing'.

Yea, you can't just buy the paint, you have to pay for a "professional" to apply it. Might just be about licensing money, but this is new so maybe later there will be a DIY version.
