Today I got my Sony A700. Although I had all my Minolta glass, I still bought a 18-70 with it. The flash unit I got with it looks amazing to me. Wireless ... (HVL-F56AM). As far as the camera goes? I don't recall seeing so many buttons in one spot before.
I love not having to use the menu for everything. Although it's about 1 AM as I type this, my son, 17, is playing with it. He's trying various things at 1/8000 shutter and ISO 6400. I'm about to shut down his experiments ... he's got school in the morning.
Anyway, I have a lot to learn ............. after I sleep. I've been trying to meet a deadline at a tv studio that contracted me to wire it for them and am very tired. I'll post some pics possibly this coming weekend.
Thanks for any and all input you folks have given me over the past several months.
