It's a Guy thing...

Looks like I broke a few of them... multiple times

12.) Friends don't let friends wear Speedos. Ever. Issue closed.

17.) If you compliment a Man on his six-pack, you'd better be talking about his choice of beer.

19.) Phrases that may NOT be uttered to another Man while lifting weights:

- Yeah, Baby, Push it!
- C'mon, give me one more! Harder!
- Another set and we can hit the showers!

33.) If a buddy is already singing along to a song in the car, you may not join him...too gay.

Well, I'd make allowance for #33 if there are intoxicants involved, or if in some way it helps you score with a hot chick.

I have a problem with this one:
20.) Never talk to a Man in a bathroom unless you are on equal footing: i.e. Both urinating, both waiting in line, etc. For all other situations, an almost imperceptible nod is all the conversation you need.

You should never speak to another man while urinating (equal footing or not).

If you're drunk, and it's a power rock song, you get to sing a duet.

Don't stop . . . belieeevin' . . .

They forgot the:

"If you and another Man so happen to meet eyes walking in the street, it is customary to give a nod"

Ok, lets clarify:

#3: It all depends on who got murdered. Mothers-in-law and Brothers-in-law don't count.

#22-Feeling "Weird and guilty" is a sign of being gay... nail her anytime you can.

#24-Tattoo it to your forhead!!!

#26- Come on--- guy time is 15 minutes, give or take.

#31-Under no circumstances is a "fix-up" from a girlfriend/wife acceptable. Immediate comment about your buddy's "war wound" is expected.

#32-A buddy in need of a "Good ass whoopin" must not be allowed to lose a fight.

#33-Sing-alongs are only allowed to Led Zepplin, Lynard Skynard or Bob Segar ("Live Bullet" only).

#35-Cock-blocks are never allowed, except where there exists the threat of bodily injury or law enforcment involvement.

36-Unless said "doinkee" is less than expected "Dude Standard" and there are witnesses to said sub-standard status.

#38-The only person that a Dude can talk to on his cell-phone in a bar is his mother and to miss a pool shot, she had better be dying.

PK, this is not a laughing matter. The "Rules of Dude" are serious and must be communicated. If we do not stand up for this, the whole word may go gay... ("Not that there is anything wrong with that").

And don't forget that no matter how serious an injury you've just incurred, when asked about it, you must always shrug and say "it's nothing, I've had worse", even if your foot is facing backwards and several sections of twisted, broken bone are protruding through your skin.
