Issue in vegas when exporting a quicktime file

Hi! I have the photoshop CS3 and I've realized the only way to render HD videos in vegas for further importing in photoshop is as quicktime files. Well, that's the theory, because when I render the vegas file to a quicktime file, the resulting video is way darker than the original one. I mean, one or two steps darker. What can I do? Is there a solution?

Did you try exporting in an AVI file, e.g. by installing the freeware Lagarith lossless codec? Won't Photoshop read it?

1. What version of Vegas
2. Are you working in 8bit or 32bit projects in Vegas
3. What quicktime codec are you using to export
4. What are the settings on that quicktime codec

Sounds like fundamental gamma shift or color space conversion to me...
