is Windows 7 Pro, Virtual PC with XP Mode?

Hi there,

I search and couldn't find anyhting, so please forgive me if this has been covered, and be so kind as to point me in that direction?


I'm upgrading my PC so Windows 7-64bit Pro with 8GB ram for the few programs that are 64-bit allready, that being said,

I use Adobe CS4 with trapcode, redgiant, etc.. plug ins, and a blackmagic decklink card. (soon CS5 will be added, but CS4 will probably still be used with existing projects for a while till we know CS5 is stable).

So long story short, sometimes some of my odd pieces of software porbably won't run on Windows 7 64bit,

Will installing Windows 7-64bit, MS Virtual PC with Windows XP be a good solution to my problem?

Looks like the only version of XP capable of running via Virtual PC is Windows XP Professional, with Windows 7 64-bit being the host OS.
