Guys I need help Im Shooting witn a DVX 100A 24 Frame Per Second
and When I exported out from my camera to my computer Im getting 29 Frame Per Second Why is that ?
 
Because the DVX records the image to tape as a 60i file with 24p flags so that it is compatible with the DV specs. Your NLE will be able to remove the pulldown to give you true 24p.

That depends on the NLE. Entry-level NLEs won't.
 
A dead give away would be if your DVX 'clunks' when you tilt it back and forth.
 
NOOP! MY CAMERA IS NOT BROKE. Let me break it down 4 you guys
am using my dvx100a shooting 24p my camera is reading playing back 24p
when I exported out using a fire wire to my pc recording on vegas 6 and when I go
to my time line in vegas 6 properties is reading the frame perfect 24p.
but when I go to my document to my original fotage and my clip properties documents is reading
29 frame per sec is this norma? my camera is brand new.
