Im having a chance to upgrade my processor and motherboard alone.
Im currently running Vegas 7 on a Dual Core 3.4 Ghz with a INTEL 945 GNTL Motherboard. I have an option to upgrade my processor to CORE 2 DUO 2.6 Ghz and an INTEL DG33 motherboard. Is this upgrade worth it ? Will there be an enhancement in performance or vice versa ? I also do multitasking such as running Photoshop and Vegas simultaneously. Plz give me your valuable suggestions. The rest of the system will remain the same (4gb ram, 4HDD x 250gb, Nvidia 7300gs).

Hi any help or just lending your experience on the core 2 duo 2.6 ghz processor will help me make my decision. Should i swap my exsting processor & board or stay with the dual core 3.4 ?
