Is this tripod too good to be true?

Hi

I've found a tripod selling new on ebay and it sounds too good to be true.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7562154658&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1

It fits within my tight buget of around $200 and according to the sellers claims its more than stable enough for a dvx100 yet only weighs around 3.2 kg including the panhead. The problem is it's not branded so I'm quite nervous it won't be up to the job. Alternatively there's a Vinton Pro 5 going for the same price but second hand and about 50% heavier.

Can anyone give me some advice on this?

Thanks
Dan

I seriously doubt the look of that head. legs though look good. But in video, its the head that matters.

It looks like a dual purpose photo and video head leaning towards the photo. I can tell by the mount plate, and the handles.

My gut feelings says, dont if your using it foe a serious camera like the dvx.

If it looks like crap, smells like crap and tastes like crap, then it must be crap. But if you'll excuse me now, I need to go take a crap. But I can sell my crap for 50 bucks if you like, it'll be about as useful as that other piece of crap.

Not a fluid or pseudo-fluid head, so probably OK for still photography but not good for following movement smoothly!
