Is this the ground glass thats dirty? If so, could I buy a new one and where? I'm also having trouble focusing perfectly on this letus, i can't even get it to focus when viewing it on a 50 inch t.v lol. oh well

Could be dirty on the other side of the GG, if can't clean with pressured air from current access side?

As for focus, perhaps you are not focusing properly on the GG? Try this, stop down your 35mm lens to say F8 or F11, with the motor turned off. Aim into a light source or brightly lit area. Focus the DVX lens on the GG, you will know when you have focus, the GG grain is very noticeable and you get sharp focus there. Then turn on the motor, open aperture on the 35mm lens, and tune focus on your subject matter with the 35mm lens. This may help. I don't use a Letus.

actually, the motor that came with the letus35 was in bad condition...the gold coil was very shorten and i could not soulder on the two wires at all. I couldn't even get a vibration, i couldn't get the 'negatives and postiives' from the motor.

So, does anyone know where i can get another motor? lol.

yeah, currently i can't use the motor at all. I tried focusing again, it looks good on the lcd...but when i view it in vegas my focus seems very soft ...not perfectly in focus

I heard there is a motor inside a cd player that i could possibly use for the letus35? is this true? I thought i needed a vibrating motor, not a spinning one. Does a spinning one work as well for the letus35?

Don't forget to clean the Achromat lens or Diopter, Dust on those can look like dust on the GG.
