Is this studio lighting or green screen?

I love the background Scott Kelby used for this video, but was wondering if he used a studio background with lighting, or if he just shot this on green screen and made the background in photoshop. Anyone have any guesses?

It's just a simple hung backdrop, with a gradient in the lighting, spotted in the middle, fading on the edges.

If I squint, I can convince myself that there are green tones on his neck and cheeks though.....that's why conspiracy theories flourish....

I don't know but for me it looks like greenscreen.... but logic says it would be easier to just film it with a backdrop.... but the edges look too blurry for me....

Looks like greenscreen. Could do the same with a simple muslin though.

I say just muslin. The blurriness is simple compression artifact--which is a big problem on Youtube.

Extremely hard to tell from a youtube video. I thought the compression looked pretty clean and based it on the hair which seems feathered. Could be either.
