Is it possible to play one track over another in DVD studio pro? I compressed a 90 minute movie, and a small amount got screwed up in compression and looks weird. I recompressed that small scene and it looks ok by itself, and I now want to put that compressed scene file overtop of where it should be in the overall compressed file in DVD Studio pro, therefore covering up the screwed up version of the scene with the individually compressed good version. Is this possible?

Not sure about DVD Studio but authoring programs usually don't let you edit any MPEG2 files. You can put files one after another but there always will be "chapter brake"...short black screen between files.
If you want to cut MPEG2 files without further compression then specialized programs can do this. Womble MPEG Video Wizard for example. Then you can export this "direct stream copy" to DVD Studio as one file.
