Heya guys,
I have a Z1U that was sent via ebay but arrived damaged and is in the process of getting fixed atm so I haven't had a chance to play with my new toy yet :( Basically what I wanna know is if I can get that look I think it's called opening the shutter in hollywood terms. I know there are plenty of times this has been used in the movies but the best example I can give is in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back when they are getting shot at. I know the Z1U has different shutter speeds but I'm pretty sure it's not the same thing.

It doesn't matter a great deal if it can't but I have written a short and a shot like that was already in my head I just wanna know If I can accomplish it.

Cheers Hope you all could provide some form of guidance.

Not sure about the scene you're referencing but you can dial the shutter up to 1/2000 or down to 1/10 and get some stylistic looks.
Good place for you to start.

I wish i could express it more clearly. It kind of makes it looks like a bit jittery??? The movie Crank uses it extensively!!! Sorry I wish I could make it sound better.
