Well...euros are worth more than the American dollar at the moment. 7K American is overpriced for the HVX, so 7000 euros must be even more overpriced. Unless a bunch of P2 cards come with it as accessories.

Goto http://www.xe.com/ucc/ and you'll find a currency converter.
$5,200 US is roughly on cue for a HVX.
In the UK you can buy it at prices down to £3600 from creditable dealers so 7000 Euros seem very overpriced. Even compared to UK prices with the crippling VAT added to it.
Where are you based?
Also it looks like P2 cards are coming down in price this week [not guaranteed yet] so I'd wait for then for cards.

I think we europeans have to pay much more than you american peo but is this really not to much for the pakkage ? I got the offer from a company (official Panasonic dealer in The Netherlands) where many of you buy your mattboxes.
Nevertheless I have the feeling they take me to the dry cleaner.
