I have found people's wallets, cellphones, keys etc. in the past and always returned them, untouched. Good Karma..whatever you want to call it. spread it.
As you might have guessed, it was my brother's wedding band. I was with him when he lost it and I thought it was like this huge TRAGEDY! when you consider how far a ring can ROLL AND DROP, I looked and looked, though the longer we looked, we figured it was lost forever.
my dad lost his wedding band also ( the story finally came out...)
lesson guys: you can loose that thing pretty easily.
lastly..any suggestions on how much to "gift" the person with? caller said he was not interested in that, but I just want to. The ring itself is probably worth $400-500.

maybe you can do a wedding video for them or piece together something nice for them or who ever they are. Pooh, you should put your skills to work. [/quote]
a free wedding job would be be uber generous. a favor reserved only for life and death matters
if it was my husband that "lost" his band, yes, then, it would be a life and death matter.
Hey Pooh...If the person said they weren't interested in a cash reward but you still feel obliged to give something, I would consider a small gift certificate for future shop or something of that nature. Enought to get a DVD or CD or something. It's nice when people return lost valuables. Good deal!
