I want to start building my light kit. I was planning on buying a whole set which will be cheaper but I dont want to put the whole cash down. So I will buy 1 light for every paycheck I get to start my 3 point lighting kit so it doesn't seem I'm spending as much. My question is, is it okay to buy a fresnel light for both key and fill light? I was thinking about buying a Arri 650w Tungsten Fresnel for key light, Arri 300w Tungsten Fresnel for the fill light and maybe a Arri 150w Tungsten Fresnel for the hairlight. Will that be a good start up kit for my 3 point lighting for indoors? Will I be able to adjust the light or the only way is moving it?
Is this a good setup for 3 point lighting?

That's a good start. I'd probably rather have another 300 than the 150. Dimmers will work (but change the color temp) scrims are better.
