is this a good doc?

So currently I'm developping a documentary about hockey's most notorious fighters, Link Gaetz. If you know anything about this guy you know he is crazy and so many unreal stories about him are on the internet. Now originally my idea was going to be going around and interviewing former coaches and teamates/players who have played against him on a quest to find Link Gaetz. (Link is known for going under the radar lots and is known as "the missing link") He has been kciked off every team he's played on and for being a 2nd round draft pick, he sure had a short NHL career. (56 games) Now my idea was yeah just basically trying to find him and in the end interview him and stuff because he sounds like a crazy guy I thought it would be cool for people to see the real Link Gaetz. I dunno I want to make a sweet doc without it being a AE "Biography" special because I want this to have a story. I tihnk my idea is alright but it seems kind of empty. Can anyone help me out with this? I recently talked to Link about the idea and we're meeting mid February to talk about my plans for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can get footage of his fights, pictures, and stories it would be quite a journey to track him down.

You might want to be prepared for him wanting to kick your ass, to take you out for "Hamburgers" and beer, or BOTH!

Yeah getting a hold of his fights and pictures should be pretty easy I would think. I just don;t know how to shape it into a sucessful story
its like I have everything right now i just need to build it. does anyone know lots about docs? Im a first time doc maker i mean i know basically how to do it but some guidance would help!
