Radium Audio worked on these. Now my first question is, do you think they used Trapcode's 3D Strokes and some audio matching plug-in to do this, Trapcode's Form which can easily match audio with abstract fractals or a clever 3d program.
I'm just trying to re'create the strokes and behavior. Form seems to create too many strokes anc I can't figure out how to control them and 3D strokes can produces the strokes exactly but when it comes to the audio movement, it doesn't seem possible.
Any help/suggestions/theories would be greatly appreciated

trapcode also makes a product called sound keyes that lets you generate keyframes based off of audio amplitude at certain frequencies. using that in conjunction with any other plugin, or effect and simply linking your effects output to the generated keyframes will give you an effect based off of the audio. you could use this for 3d strokes on an individual level, or anything you want to base off of audio. ..AE also has a built in "convert audio to keyframes" function, but you cant based things off certain envelopes at given frequencies and other fine tunings like you can in soundkeys.

Seems possible with form, but I haven't had enough time with it to really say how. Neil's suggestion would work as well, with probably more control.
