Is there any way to Make a DVD look as good on computer as does on T.V.

I have created a 24 frame progressive DVD (I think) in DVD Studio Pro and it looks good on the T.V. but it has bit of a dimming pulsing and it's softer on the Computer. I converted it to Mpeg2 using Compressor and even when I play that in Quicktime before burning a DVD it has the same annoying pulse to it. What have I done wrong? My settings in Compressor were:

Best Quality 90 minutes two pass VBR Best, Maxiumum Bit Rate 7.5, Average 6.4, 23.98 fps progressive, closed GOP of 12.

Then I imported that into DVD Studio Pro as an Asset and used it as is. Is there something at this point in the process I'm missing?

Please help. There must be a way to make a DVD look as good on the computer as on the T.V. yes?

I play other DVD's like "Murderball" and there is no problem in my computer or on my T.V.

Actually....stay away from 2 pass VBR. There is a known macro blocking problem with it. Dissolves just tear all over the place. I use 1 pass. That may help your problem, although I've never experienced it....Are you by chance trying to watch the DVD in full screen mode on your computer??

Has anyone experienced footage coming out of compressor to be WAAAAAAAAY darker than it should be? I've given up on compressor and I just import uncompressed footage into DVD Studio Pro. Is there a fix? I've run into this problem compressing 720/60 HD footage.
